Just a bit more housekeeping, and then I'll stop spamming your f-lists. :)
Again, not so good at the graphics thing (I'd get better if I had any time to practice, but both my real and online lives are quite busy at the moment!), so I don't have any fancy buttons or flashy gizmos to advertise the comm. If you like to make that kind of stuff, feel free! ;) In the meantime, if you would like to affiliate your community with bsg_graphics, please leave a comment here with the comm's name, and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. If you've got multiple comms you'd like to suggest, that's awesome - just list them all in one comment.
Currently, we are only accepting affiliates related to the TV show Battlestar Galactica (new or old series) and any communities featuring BSG-related actors/actresses. If your community doesn't fit this criteria, please do not request affiliation. I may decide to change this in the future, but for now, it will be kept as before. Thank you. :)
All current affiliates will, of course, also be kept. :)

Hey, guys! As ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif?v=92.2) devilwrites mentioned, I am indeed going to be your new mod, and I'm very pleased to be here! While I don't make icons myself - not skilled enough with Photoshop yet for that, hehe - some of you may know me as the mod of bsg_stillness and the co-mod of karastillness, and I also co-edit the_wireless. I'm a busy girl. ;) I don't plan to change this community in any fundamental way, believing that it works just great as-is, but I do have a few ideas to spruce things up and keep the activity level humming. Even though the show's over, that doesn't mean the fandom will go quietly!
This here is just a re-post of something you're probably familiar with: the application post for bsg_graphics. If you're already a member, you do not need to apply again, so no worries there. This is just so that if new folks want to join up, I will get their comments emailed to me and can therefore approve them as soon as possible. :)
This is NOT an elite community. This just ensures you've read the rules of engagement found in the user info, and in this post, before you just start posting. Many people, when they want to post their stuff, don't bother reading the rules of a community and just post everywhere, and that's what I'm trying to avoid here. :)
In order to gain posting access to this community, please do the following:
1) Comment with the following phrase: I will not post icons in this community, and I don't know why I ever would. If you don't comment with this phrase, or something really super-close that tells me you KNOW you're not allowed to post icons here, it doesn't count.
2) Once you've commented, go ahead and join the community. When I see your comment, I'll approve the membership ASAP. :)
That's it. No icons, but everything else goes. AND, as long as your teaser is a thumbnail for the larger graphic, you may link to posts that have icons in them (there are some lovely wallpaper/icon sets out there), but do please warn us.
And that's it! Just comment below, and I'll approve you as soon as I can.

All right, folks! We have a new moderator! First, I want to thank everyone who applied (and thank them for putting up with my finicky email system that kept eating their applications). I know it took me a little while to make this decision, so I really appreciate their patience.
Your new moderator will be amidala_thrace, and she'll be posting a few things relating to community maintenance from this point on. I hope you give her a warm welcome, and offer her all the suggestions you have to keep this place alive and well.
Thanks so much for making the community as successful as it's been, and I hope you continue to make it successful for the new moderator.

So far, no takers to be the new moderator of this community. I'm giving it until the weekend, and if there remains no interest, I'll delete the comm. I'm sure most of you would rather I not do that, but if no one wants to take over, I'll do what I have to do. After all, BSG is over, save for The Plan.

Sorry folks, because sometime last year I attempted to hand off this community to someone else, but while I had takers, I never followed through, and that's my fault. But at this point, I'm ready. If you're willing to take this community over, email at devilwrites@bellsouth.net . We'll talk about what's necessary so that once I pass over moderatorship, it'll be a clean break and the new moderator will have complete control. :) In your email, just make sure you give me your LJ name as well as any possible moderating experience you've had in the past. If you don't have any, no worries. I'm just curious.
